What is Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing is an ancient energy-healing technique that uses prana, or life energy, to restore physical, emotional, and mental balance for improved well-being.

Pranic Healing is an ancient science and art that uses prana (life energy) to heal the physical body. Prana, also known as ki or chi, is the vital life force that sustains health and vitality. It surrounds us and can be drawn from three primary sources:

  1. Solar Prana: Derived from sunlight, it invigorates and energises the body.
  2. Air Prana: Present in the air, absorbed by the lungs through breathing and by energy centres called chakras.
  3. Ground Prana: Found in the earth and absorbed through the soles of the feet.

Prana is also infused in water, sunlight, air, ground, and food, and can be harnessed for healing by projecting it to a person. Resting under trees is another way to absorb prana, as they radiate energy naturally.

The energy body, which interpenetrates the physical body and extends beyond it by 10-12 centimetres, is integral to Pranic Healing. This invisible energy field comprises:

  • Inner Aura: Closely follows the physical body’s contour.
  • Health Rays and Health Aura: Bioplasmic rays project perpendicularly from the body, forming a protective force field about 60-90 centimetres wide.
  • Outer Aura: Extends approximately one metre from the physical body, enveloping the inner and health auras.

The energy body contains 11 major chakras, along with minor and mini chakras, all of which play a vital role in absorbing and distributing prana throughout the body. By cleansing and energising these chakras, Pranic Healing restores balance, promotes self-repair, and enhances overall well-being.
